About The Festival
The Tahoe Joy Festival is
A FREE single day BENEFIT music festival at Tahoe City's Commons Beach showcasing regional bands, local artisan vendors, food and beverage trucks and family friendly activities.
Conceived by Tahoe native Matt Axton and inspired by his father Hoyt Axton's iconic hit "Joy to the World," the Tahoe Joy Festival is dedicated to bringing more joy to the Tahoe City community through music, art, and connection.
Presented by the Joy Foundation , the festival supports local non-profits; the 2026 beneficiary is The Tahoe Truckee School of Music.
